Drive2Work

Drive2Work is our Employment Placement Service and will offer job seekers in the catchment area, one on one support and guidance through their job search journey.

They will be empowered to learn successful job search skills and strategies through being motivated and engaged in making a better future for the selves, with the goal of being long-term employment success.

Along with individualised assistance we will offer small group workshops.  These works strengthen collaboration, motivate job seekers, boost spirits, improve communication while creating strong and supportive relationships with like-minded individuals.   

Phase 1: Engagement

Initial face to face engagement, relationship building and understanding of the challenge ahead! This phase is to ensure the smooth transition from Work and Income to the Y-Drive2Work.

Phase 2: The World of Work

This phase has a focus on delivery of a range of employability training including core skills, job search advice and activities.

Phase 3: Intensive Preparation/Readiness

This phase ensures the job seeker has all the tools and skills for effective job search and ultimately permanent and sustainable employment placement.

Phase 4: Employment Planning & Placement Support

This phase represents a positive journey of the previous activities/phases, acknowledges the job seeker is now “ready for work” and solely focus on pursuing permanent sustainable employment.

Phase 5: Transition & Post Placement Support

This phase provides for transition and post placement support to ensure a successful transition into the workplace.
